Our Flag Committee is responsible for setting the flags in the downtown area in the morning and removing them in the evening. There are typically two groups (the morning group and the evening group), so volunteering wouldn’t require you to do set and remove the flags … but if you have the time, we’re grateful for the help.
Flags are placed downtown on the following days:
Armed Forces Day - Saturday, May 16, 2009 Memorial Day - Monday, May 25, 2009 Flag Day - Sunday, June 14, 2009 Independence Day - Saturday, July 4, 2009 Labor Day - Monday, September 7, 2009 Election Day - Tuesday, November 3, 2009 Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11, 2009 |
